Audio Visual 1 is a principles  class. An entry level course, designed to introduce students to many different types and forms of the world of Digital Media. Areas covered include:

• Basic photography
• Computer Technology, terms, and file management.
• Graphic Design, specifically Lightroom, Adobe photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Equipment use, management, maintenance, and trouble shooting.
• Network use and terminology
• Audio and Video manipulation and editing.
• Script writing, storyboard, multi-cam angles.
• Introduction to copyright laws, rule.
• Envato
• All students participate/enter local youth fair photography contest.

A/V ll

• Students are enrolled in part 107 certification. Study materials and the test are paid for by the school. Currently 5 students working on becoming official licensed drone operators.
• Community based projects we work on an annual basis:
• Night at the Museum yearly dinner and celebration.
• Promo materials including posters, tickets, and museum pamphlet.
• AV ll Students participate in UIL film festival, in February of each year.
• Partner with local radio station KNUZ with live interviews, student interviews, and sports broadcasting.

Certifications:

• Every student enrolled has taken and passed the T.R.U.S.T. test for recreational flying of drone.
